Trace Collection – Nendo
Once again, Japanese design practice Nendo has come up with an imaginative product that combines minimal design with a clever function. The studio’s latest ‘Trace Collection’ consists of a container, a counter and light, displaying the movements of everyday use in a poetic way. These furniture items can be modulated depending on your daily desires as a true ode to change and adaptability. Aiming to pay more attention to movements in spacial design, Nendo’s pieces were commissioned by and are part of the Collective Design fair in New York City. Made from wood, the visible movement traces are made from metal.
